What this layer is

    02 · Capital Allocation Target

    35%I.

    Applications and quantum-inspired algorithms

Whilst most eyes are currently on the technicalities of how to develop functioning computers, few are on how they will actually be used. These companies are booking revenue today on classical hardware. They own the customer before fault-tolerant machines arrive, and capture the FTQC value as a software update, not a new sale.

    30%II.

    Picks and shovels

Photonic interconnects, control electronics, cryogenics, lasers and components. Every hardware program, in every modality, buys this stack today, and the bill grows with every qubit added on every roadmap.

    20%III.

    Quantum sensing

The first quantum magnetometer reached orbit in March 2026 to keep the World Magnetic Model accurate for every phone compass and aircraft heading. Adjacent markets in GPS-denied navigation, defense, medical and infrastructure.

    10%IV.

    Post-quantum cryptography and QKD

Data is already being harvested for later decryption today. Once cryptographically relevant quantum computers are sufficiently large they will with relative ease break the public-key cryptography all of modern society is built on.

Reserved for extraordinary opportunities in QPU developers.

    03 · Our approach

    Sovereign capital

Deterrence capital does not optimize for IRR. In this industry, a company is often funded because it serves as the sole provider of a critical layer in that jurisdiction’s quantum stack.

    Talent

Companies are emerging fast; talent is not. The best talent attracts the best talent.

    The market

We back the best supplier wherever they are and connect them with the American buyer.

    Asymmetric investor intelligence

A strong pulse on R&D, academia and government.

    Across the capital stack

Entry into competitive early-stage rounds, and standing relationships with the mid- and later-stage investors who carry winners onward.

    EarlyMidLate

    The operator model

Ownership beyond checks: client introductions, investor relations and fractional-CFO support, structured as warrants to the fund.

    Investment Focus

Lab lineageAnd the talent it attracts.
Value todayGenerated for a real problem or customer now.
A defendable pathTo capture fault-tolerant value when it arrives.

    Pillar I · Applications

    BQP

    Syracuse, NY

Computational fluid dynamics and engineering simulation plugged into already adopted software. Path to FTQC value capture. CRADA with the AFRL Aerospace Systems Directorate, first federal contract via SpaceWERX SBIR in July 2026, ecosystem partners including IBM Quantum and Intel Ignite.

RoundSeed, $5M · Monta Vista Capital

    Pillar I · Applications

    Singularity Quantum

    Seoul and Maryland

Quantum-enhanced CFD for cardiovascular diagnostics: fractional flow reserve computed from a CT scan, replacing invasive catheterization with simulation. 2026 Cleveland Clinic Quantum Innovation Catalyzer awardee and NIH Quantum Computing Challenge winner.

    RoundSeed, $1.2M · K5 Global

Pillar II · Picks and shovels

    Bifrost Electronics

    Arvada, CO

Quantum-limited readout amplifiers serving both superconducting and spin-qubit platforms, the measurement front end every modality needs.

    RoundSeed, $2.5M · Caruso Ventures

Pillar II · Picks and shovels

    kiutra

    Munich

Helium-3-free magnetic cryogenic cooling. Helium-3 runs near $2,000 a litre against roughly 25,000 litres of annual world supply, so this addresses a core supply-chain chokepoint rather than trading on it.
