Information only, not advice

Everything here is general information about SevenTrain Ventures, our work and our views.

• Not advice

  Nothing on the site is investment, legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice, and none of it takes your circumstances into account. Get advice from your own advisers before you act on anything you read here.

• No relationship

  Using the site, reading our research, booking a call or writing to us does not make you our client, and does not create an advisory, fiduciary or other relationship. Any engagement needs a separate written agreement.

• Views

  Our views are opinions. Where a page says a view is SevenTrain's argued view, not established fact, read it that way. Statements about the future are expectations, not promises, and may turn out to be wrong.

• Figures

  Figures are as of the date shown beside them. Some come from companies or other third parties; we name the source where we can, but we do not guarantee them, and we do not undertake to update them.

• Research

  Our research pages carry this statement, which applies to all of our research: "For informational purposes only. Does not constitute investment advice or an offer to sell securities. SevenTrain Ventures holds a position in PsiQuantum, one of the companies discussed in this series. Past performance is not indicative of future results. The Quantum Intelligence Fund

The site describes the SevenTrain & Co. Quantum Intelligence Fund, L.P. It does not offer it.

• In plain words

  Only the Private Placement Memorandum can offer an interest in the fund, and only to investors who meet the eligibility standards. If anything on this site differs from the Private Placement Memorandum, the Private Placement Memorandum governs.

• Eligibility

  Under Rule 506(c), each purchaser must be an accredited investor, and the fund must take reasonable steps to verify that status. Ticking the box on the fund summary form confirms your status to us; it is not that verification. Outside the United States, information about the fund is meant only for professional investors where local rules allow it. If the rules where you are do not allow you to receive information about a private fund, please do not use the fund page or request its materials.

• No commitment

  Requesting the fund summary or booking a call does not commit you or us to anything.

• Risk

  All investments involve risk, including loss of principal. The Private Placement Memorandum describes the fund's risks.

Positions, names and pictures

• Our positions

  SevenTrain Ventures holds a position in PsiQuantum, one of the companies discussed in our research. We may hold positions in other companies we discuss.

• Names and logos

  A name or logo on this site does not mean that organisation endorses us. Logos beside our people show where they have worked. Companies in the fund pipeline are shown for illustration, and no commitment or allocation is implied.

• Pictures

  Some pictures are generated illustrations, and the pages that use them say so.

Our content and marks

The site, its text, research, figures, design and code belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us.

• Decision OS

  Decision OS™ is SevenTrain background IP, licensed per deployment.

• Names

  SevenTrain Ventures, SevenTrain&Co., 7TV and Decision OS are names we use for our firm and our work. Other names and logos belong to their owners.

• You may

  Read, download and print pages and research for your own use; quote and cite our research with credit to SevenTrain Ventures and the issue's title and date; and share links to any page.

• You may not

  Copy large parts of the site, republish or sell our content, or use it to suggest that we endorse you, without our written permission.

• Credited material

  Photographs and other material credited to someone else stay under that owner's licence.

Other sites and our products

• Links

  We link to other services, including Luma for event registration, Google for booking calls, LinkedIn, our event photo gallery and live systems on SevenTrain subdomains. We do not control sites run by others and are not responsible for their content or their practices.

• Our products

  twelvebell and Decision OS each have their own site: twelvebell.com, and the Decision OS site. Using those sites, or buying or licensing those products, is governed by the terms those sites publish or the contract you sign, not by these terms.

Using the site fairly

Use the site lawfully, and in a way that does not harm it or anyone else.

• Do not

  Break the law; try to get into parts of the site or our systems you are not meant to reach; interfere with how the site works, or load it with automated requests in a way that strains it or ignores our robots.txt file; send harmful code; or pretend to be someone else.

• Forms and email

  Send only accurate information, and only information that is yours to share. Do not use our forms to send spam.

What you send us

No warranty, and limits on our liability

• As is

  We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it as is and as available. We do not promise that it is complete, current, free of errors or uninterrupted, or that its files are free of harmful code.

• Our liability

  To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on its content. That includes indirect or consequential loss, lost profits and lost investment returns.

• What we do not exclude

  Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Governing law, changes and contact

• Governing law

  These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute about them will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

• Changes

  We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

• The rest stands

  If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
